Behavioral Health Services
As a trauma-informed clinician my approach reflects adherence to principles over procedures. Treatment methods address safety, trust, support and empowerment while reflecting cultural and gender issues. Trauma symptoms require priority in treatment. Options beyond talk therapy offered include EMDR and Sensorimotor psychotherapy.
Grief & Loss
Throughout our lifespan we experience losses, both primary and secondary. Deaths of loved ones, friends, pets, or ended relationships. Similarly, loss of roles or identity, changes in physical health or finances contribute to emotional upheaval. Therapy may provide psychoeducation and emotional support which helps to integrate the changes life brings.
Life is about relationships, requiring a delicate balance of holding on and letting go. As individuals, we learn about ourselves and others in the context of our relationships. When personality dynamics become problematic, conflict happens. More importantly, with therapy, conflict resolution is possible amongst personal and professional relationships.
I’m a sex positive clinician. That translates to being culturally competent and inclusive of sexual diversity. Your humanity and sexuality intersect; both will be respected. When there is discord between the overlap of psychology and physiology, sex therapy may be an appropriate consideration. Sessions available individually or with partner(s).

In cases when mode of death is undetermined, an equivocal death analysis may discern between suicide or accidental death. Psychological autopsy aims to discern the mental state of the deceased, often when suicide is implicated. PA is completed by structured interviews, analyzing medical records and conducting research into the decedent’s frame of mind prior to death.
